Advertising Agency KidGlov Offers Free Resources
for Nonprofit Fundraising Efforts

KidGlov, a boutique marketing and advertising agency serving organizations who affect positive change, is now offering the Nonprofit Direct Mail Trends Report, available free via download and on-demand webinar at www.kidglovwebinar.com. This timely study is designed to help nonprofit organizations up-level their end of year direct mail appeals.

Kidglov, an agency that specializes in nonprofit advertising, has spent the last 10 years working with charitable organizations to help them maximize impact and fundraising. Year-end direct mail appeals are a key element in many nonprofit fundraising efforts. During a year of economic downturn, KidGlov is lending a hand to these organizations after completing a comprehensive study of 100+ highly effective and non-effective end-of-year direct mail fundraising packages. Their findings are now available to nonprofit organizations seeking to make positive change in their year-end fundraising efforts.

“It’s been a tough year for nonprofits,” said Lyn Wineman, president and chief strategist at KidGlov. “For many of these organizations, end-of-year direct mail fundraisers are key to ensuring they can continue to serve into next year. We’re here to help those organizations stand out, get noticed, and receive the support they need to continue fulfilling their missions.”

The free report and webinar, created and led by Kelly Peterson, vice president and nonprofit creative director at Kidglov, will provide comprehensive studies the advertising agency has collected during their 10 years of working with nonprofits. Specifically, participants will explore how to capture attention in the first 20 seconds; how to personalize direct mail pieces to more accurately tell an organization’s story; best practices of what works and what doesn’t; and small changes that make a big difference for success.

Kelly Peterson, a nonprofit marketing master at KidGlov has over 20 years of marketing and advertising experience. She is the only creative director in the state of Nebraska to achieve Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) status from the American Marketing Association. Peterson has lent creative talents in developing and refreshing campaigns from some of the Midwest’s most beloved nonprofit organizations including Child Guidance Center, Lincoln Community Foundation, Matt Talbot, PromiseShip and Prosper Lincoln.

“Direct mail appeals for nonprofit organizations are still incredibly relevant and have great potential to be more effective than digital efforts,” said Wineman. “But standing out among the dozens of pieces we all receive every year, requires some know-how.”

Wineman said the free tools and webinar are just one of the ways their advertising agency is lending a hand to nonprofit organizations. An agency of change, KidGlov has supported local, nonprofit organizations since they were founded 10 years ago. Just this year, the organization celebrated their decade in business by gifting $20,000 in advertising services during a campaign to shine light on organizations whose missions make positive change in the world. The Child Saving Institute and the Lincoln Community Playhouse were selected as prize winners. In addition, KidGlov just recently launched the Agency for Change podcast, a weekly program that explores organizations and individuals doing extraordinary things for the community. “We’re continually inspired by the organizations we work with—small and large, both individuals and corporations,” said Lyn Wineman. “Each of us can play a part in positive change. Sometimes, we just need a little inspiration to guide us.”
